Harrison Ford, Halle Berry, Kate Hudson Among Oscar Presenters

Harrison Ford, Halle Berry and Kate Hudson are among the list of celebrities presenting at the 95th Oscars.

Ford currently stars in the Apple TV+ series, “Shrinking” alongside Jason Segel. Fans can expect to see Ford reprise his role as Indiana Jones in “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” which will make its theatrical premiere on June 30.

Berry has recently been seen in “Bruised” on Netflix and has since signed a multi-picture deal with the streamer. After her historic Oscar win 2001, Berry is the most recent woman of color to win the Oscar for best actress in a leading role.

Hudson stars in the Oscar nominated film “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,” and can be seen in the recent film “A Little White Lie” opposite Michael Shannon.

In addition to Ford, Hudson and Berry, the Academy announced the third slate of presenters including Paul Dano, Cara Delevingne, Harrison Ford, Mindy Kaling, Eva Longoria, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Andie MacDowell, Elizabeth Olsen, Pedro Pascal and John Travolta.

The Academy announced on March 2 the second slate of presenters, including Antonio Banderas, Jessica Chastain, John Cho, Andrew Garfield, Hugh Grant, Danai Gurira, Salma Hayek Pinault, Nicole Kidman, Sigourney Weaver, Florence Pugh, Elizabeth Banks and Halle Bailey.

Pugh was nominated for supporting actress in 2020 for “Little Women,” and her credits also include “Don’t Worry Darling,” “Midsommar” and the upcoming films “Oppenheimer” and “Dune: Part Two.”

Banks helmed the recent film “Cocaine Bear” and starred in “The Hunger Games” and “Pitch Perfect” movies with additional work in “Charlie’s Angels,” “Love & Mercy” and “Catch Me If You Can.”

Bailey stars in the upcoming live-action “Little Mermaid.” Her credits also include “A Wrinkle in Time” and “Grown-ish,” and she makes up half of the R&B duo Chloe x Halle.

Previously announced presenters include Ariana DeBose, Michael B. Jordan and Janelle Monáe as well as Riz Ahmed, Emily Blunt, Glenn Close, Jennifer Connelly, Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Troy Kotsur, Jonathan Majors, Melissa McCarthy, Deepika Padukone, Questlove, Zoe Saldaña and Donnie Yen.

DeBose takes the Oscar stage following her viral rap at February’s BAFTA ceremony, which shouted out female nominees including Angela Bassett and Viola Davis. DeBose won the supporting actress Oscar in 2022 for “West Side Story,” marking her first Academy Award nomination.

Michael B. Jordan’s announcement as an Oscar presenter came after his Hollywood Walk of Fame induction on March 1 and ahead of the “Creed III” premiere on March 3, in which he stars and is making his directorial debut.

Musician and actor Janelle Monáe starred in the Oscar-nominated film “Glass Onion” in 2022 and also appeared in 2016’s Oscar-winning film “Moonlight” and Oscar-nominated movie “Hidden Figures.”

Oscar showrunners and executive producers Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner made the announcement along with executive producer Molly McNearney.

“Everything Everywhere All At Once” leads the nominations this year with 11, followed by “All Quiet on the Western Front” and “The Banshees of Inisherin” at nine. Rounding out the best picture category are “Avatar: The Way of Water,” “Elvis,” “The Fabelmans,” “Tár,” “Top Gun: Maverick,” “Triangle of Sadness” and “Women Talking.”

The Academy Awards will take place March 12 at the Dolby Theater. Jimmy Kimmel is returning to host the ceremony, which can be watched live on ABC and in over 200 territories worldwide.
