Area Happenings: Tasty weeks, Auto Show, Leap Day Supper

Ten Weeks of Tasty, Feb 22-April 26, downtown Wooster. Each drink shop and restaurant brings its own signature flare to their establishment, and they will be highlight. Beginning Thursday enjoy the highlighted restaurant, and on Friday's enjoy a drink shop highlighted. The rotation will be followed for 10 weeks. Winter’s Interlude, through March 9, Kingwood Center Gardens, 50 N. Trimble Road, Mansfield. Nearly 250 orchids, along with air plants and tropical plants, decorate the intimate space of the Orangery in the Display Greenhouse. Displays both common and exotic orchid species, shipped to Kingwood from as far as Hawaii. Gardens. Leap Day Soup Supper, 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 29, Castle Club Banquet Center, beside the Victorian House Museum of the Holmes County Historical Society in Millersburg. Four soups will be offered − signature ham and bean, broccoli cheese, potato and chili − along with assorted pies (apple, pecan, pumpkin and more) The supper cost is a donation. Dine in or carryout. Proceeds support the Historical Society.

Wayne County Barn Survey Revival, 9:30 a.m.-noon Friday, March 1, Buckeye Agricultural Museum & Education Center, 877 West Old Lincolnway, Wooster, (across from Wayne County Fairgrounds).
