Area Happenings: JeromeFest; Elvis impersonator; Rogues' Hollow Festival

Downtown Wooster Farmers' Market, 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, downtown Wooster. Shop locally for the freshest picked produce, organic eggs, meat and poultry, honey, home-baked goods, fresh-cut flowers, wine tastings, artisanal crafts and more. Lead sponsor, E&H Ace Hardware, will have free samples at the grilling station. JeromeFest, Saturday, Jeromesville. There will be a car show 3:30-6 p.m. and a concert. Food will be served 3:30-6:30 p.m. ShaK will perform 4-7 p.m. Activities are at Lewis Memorial Park. The Kenneth Wise Historical Museum will be open with a special display of Jeromesville School memorabilia. A silent auction will benefit Lions Club scholarships and various Lions’ projects.

Elvis Impersonator Lonnie Freeman, 6-8:30 p.m. Sunday, Ashland Golf Club. Although pavilion seating is sold out Elvis fans can purchase a general admission wristband for $5 and take chairs for seating around the pavilion. Tickets can be purchased at the Pro Shop or by calling 419-289-3767. Food trucks will open at 4:30 p.m.

Inaugural Dragway 42 Music Festival, Friday and Saturday, Dragway 42, featuring Ted Nugent, Cheap Trick, and performances by Big & Rich, Steven Alder and Warrant. Tickets can be purchased at www.42fest.com - two-day, single day and camping sites with and without electricity will be available.

United Titanium Bug Zoo Insect Night Walk, 8 p.m. Friday, Wooster Science Building, Entomology Department, Ohio State Wooster Campus, 1600 Wilson Road, Wooster. Trained volunteers are on hand to answer questions and guide you through the exhibits. Admission is free. Also visit each Monday, Wednesday and Friday through August 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

29th Rogues Hollow Festival, Friday and Saturday. Activities scheduled throughout the weekend include a parade on Friday, activities at the library scheduled on Saturday, a corn hole tournament, a motorcycle cruise-in and more. Klarissa Ella will perform Friday night, with live music scheduled on Saturday as well. The festival finishes with fireworks on Saturday evening. For more information call 330-607-4487.
