Are Glenn Beck and Samantha Bee New BFFs?
Samantha Bee gained an unlikely ally on Monday’s Full Frontal, as she sat down with conservative host Glenn Beck.
Very quickly, the two realized they had much more in common than they previously thought. Bee explained her reason for having him on her show. “I think that our future is going to require a broad coalition of nonpartisan decency.” Beck responded, “Agree.”
They also agreed on the impact of Beck’s previously incendiary remarks. He said, “I helped divide. I’m willing to take that. My message to you is, please don’t make the mistakes that I made, and I think all of us are doing it. We’re doing it on Facebook. We’re doing it on Twitter.”
In honor of their newfound alliance, Bee presented Beck with a “strange bedfellow” cake that featured fondant versions of the two in bed together. To prove there was no animosity between them, they ate each other’s cake heads, and it was beautiful.
