Are ‘Bachelor’ Couple Ben and Lauren Finally ‘Happily Ever After’?
On Tuesday’s season finale of Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?, Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell traveled to Las Vegas to celebrate their bachelor and bachelorette parties despite Ben calling the wedding off in a previous episode.
Though all of their best friends were in attendance, only former Bachelor contestants the Twins knew about the broken engagement. They said, “Ben walks into the party and toasts like there’s nothing wrong. Like, are we the only ones that are confused?”
The two then went through the awkward process of telling their friends, followed by watching an obviously staged show of affection: clips of their story from The Bachelor playing on the MGM Grand Jumbotron.
That painfully scripted moment led to Ben and Lauren meeting in a lounge at the casino in which they pretended to make up from the fake fight they had. They proclaimed to the world that their wedding was back on. They embraced, saying, “You’re my person.”
