The Archies Premiere: Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Vir Das & More Attend

The much-anticipated premiere night of The Archies turned out to be a glamorous gala. After all, the crème de la crème of Bollywood descended under one roof to celebrate the upcoming Netflix movie. The star-studded event was attended by the who’s who of the industry, including the Bachchan family, Shah Rukh Khan’s family, Animal’s Ranbir Kapoor, and more.

The Archies is releasing on December 7, 2023, only on Netflix.

The Archies Screening: Khushi Kapoor pays an ode to her late mother Sridevi

One of the highlights of the night was Khushi Kapoor’s tribute to her late mother, the legendary Sridevi. Khushi attended the screening in a shimmering golden gown that held a special significance for her. It was the same gown worn by her mother at the IIFA Awards in 2013. In a touching gesture, Khushi Kapoor chose to wear this ten-year-old Kaufman Franco dress for her debut in The Archies.

Netflix treated fans with inside pictures from the premiere, giving a sneak peek into the camaraderie and candid moments shared by the stars.

Shah Rukh Khan caught up with his co-star Kajol from DDLJ and many others. He also interacted with Emmy Award winner Vir Das, who recently made history at the International Emmy Awards 2023.

Additionally, The Bachchan family graced the event in full force. Abhishek Bachchan, proud “mamu” to Agastya Nanda, shared a heartfelt moment captured just before they headed to The Archies premiere. In his post, Abhishek expressed his pride and affection.

All in all, the premiere night saw a constellation of stars, including Ranveer Singh, Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Bobby Deol, and more. Moreover, everyone enthusiastically applauded the Zoya Akhtar directorial.

The Archies is set in 1960s India showcasing a tale of friendship between rebellious teenagers. The cast of The Archies includes Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda. It also features Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Saigal, and Yuvraj Menda.
