‘Archer’ Finale Recap: Is This the End of Archer?
The seventh-season finale of Archer ended on an epic cliffhanger that has fans wondering if it’s the end of Sterling Archer. This season started with two policemen looking at Archer, who was floating face-down in a pool.
Archer had unleashed cyborg-Archer to trick Veronica Deane into admitting that she killed Ellis Crane. So after Veronica shot one Archer, the other one came out and got her to admit everything. The only problem was that she shot that Archer too. So when the gang showed up to find Archer floating in the pool, they were shocked to see the other Archer come out with a gunshot wound. Unfortunately, that Archer was the cyborg, and the episode ended on everyone realizing that the real Archer was the one floating in the pool. The show has yet to be renewed, and Matt Thompson, one of the executive producers, recently told the Daily Beast that Archer might actually be dead.
