How Archer’s Final Episodes Can Be Watched by the Spectrum Customers Who Just Lost FXX
We spy a solution for Spectrum cable customers who just last week saw FXX abruptly vanish from their channel guide, and don’t want to miss Archer‘s very final episodes.
On Sept. 11, Charter Communications and The Walt Disney Company reached a new agreement that ended an 18-channel “outage” for Spectrum cable customers. But as part of that deal, a “more curated” package of Disney networks was restored for Spectrum customers — and it doesn’t include FXX, Freeform, Disney Junior, Disney XD, FXM, Baby TV, Nat Geo Wild or Nat Geo Mundo.

And though Disney wound up agreeing to provide the Disney+ Basic tier to Spectrum customers who purchase the Spectrum TV Select package, Archer streams on Hulu. So what is an Archer-loving Spectrum customer to do…?
It was announced on Tuesday that Archer‘s final-season episodes — including the handful that have already aired — are being made available via VOD for subscribers to the linear FX (and FXX channels), in addition to still being available on Hulu.
The fifth episode of Archer’s farewell season drops Sept. 20 at 10/9c, on FXX.
