April Love Geary Reveals She Had an Abortion While Proudly Displaying Body Three Months After Giving Birth

April Love Geary is opening up about getting an abortion, days after Alabama passed a controversial anti-abortion law.

Robin Thicke‘s fiancée shared her intimate story after saying she received DMs from followers critiquing her on her pro-choice views because she’s a mom.

Posting her impactful words with a picture of her bare stomach and scar from her c-section, Geary wrote, “this is MY body, MY body after having an abortion in 2014, a miscarriage in 2017, delivering a baby in 2018 & 2019.”

Getting candid about her abortion, she continued, “I’m glad I was able to make decisions about MY body without facing any type of punishment. It’s scary to think that women won’t be able to choose to abort if that’s what they want/what’s necessary.”

Adding, “You shouldn’t get to make the rules for someone else’s body.”

April Love Geary is just one of the many stars who’ve spoken out about their own abortion stories — along with Milla Jovovich and Busy Philipps — following the Alabama law.

Other A-listers like Lady Gaga, Chris Evans, Hailey Bieber, Bella Hadid and more have been open about their disgust for what’s happening in the South.

Even Rihanna had some choice words for Governor Kay Ivey who signed off on the strictest abortion bill in the country on Wednesday — banning a woman’s right to an abortion at any stage, including victims of rape or incest and sentencing any doctor who performs an illegal abortion 10 years minimum to 99-years to life.

The only exception to Alabama’s abortion law will be a mother whose life is at risk if they give birth.
