April Love Geary Asks Parents to Stop Dressing Kids to 'Fit Your Aesthetic': 'Let Our Kids Wear Whatever'

April Love Geary is all for letting kids be kids.

The longtime girlfriend of singer Robin Thicke shared a photo of their three kids —  Luca Patrick, 2,  Lola Alain, 4, and Mia Love, 5, — and their big brother, Thicke's oldest son Julian, 13, together at home on Instagram Tuesday.

Geary made a note of the kids' colorful outfits in her post, writing, "Can we please let our kids wear whatever they want in 2024 and stop making your kids wear zero colors to fit your aesthetic lol."

On her Instagram Story Monday night, Geary did a Q&A where she opened up about how much help the couple has with their kids.

"All three of my kids are in school and Julian's in school too," she points out. "[The younger three] all start school at the same time and get out at the same time, so we have a nanny come after school to help with stuff that needs to get done or around the house or whatever. They stay until bath time and then go home."

Last year on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Thicke shared that son Julian “got the gift” when it comes to music.

He said his son "started singing from a very young age," adding, "I would give him whatever little pointers I could."

"He's a natural singer and he just got a lead part in the middle school play," Thicke said at the time, noting that Julian was set to play Charlie in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. His role as Patrick Star in this year’s musical was but a follow-up to last year’s lead role.

The “Close to You” singer also said that his son had started “playing a little guitar” at the time and that he wanted him to “write his own songs.”

"It's really his journey and his life," he continued. "I more encourage him to be himself and love himself."
