SOUTH BEND — Saint Mary’s College music faculty and alumni present a Music for Food concert at 7 p.m. April 13 at Stapleton Lounge in Le Mans Hall at Saint Mary’s College.

The chamber music concert features the premiere of a song cycle by Carol Shamory and piano compositions by Ellis Anderson as well as chamber music works by Undine Smith Moore, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Ernst von Dohnányi and more.

Performers include Elizabeth Schleicher, soprano; Carol Shamory, mezzo soprano; Aleksandra Kemble, flute; Jennet Ingle, oboe; Debra Inglefield, French horn; Geena Kam, piano; and Ellis Anderson, piano.

Music for Food is a musician-led initiative for local hunger relief founded in Boston in 2009. Now entering its 14th season, Music for Food has grown to include chapters in 22 U.S. cities, additional collaborative concerts across the nation and a growing international presence.

Admission is free, but suggested donations are $30 for adults and $15 for students. All proceeds will go to Cultivate Food Rescue.
