Apparently Beyonce and Reese Witherspoon Really Made A Connection at the Golden Globes
It's Friday and people are still talking about the 77th Annual Golden Globe awards, which opened with a shocking monologue by veteran Globes host Ricky Gervais. And although the awards were pretty much a bland snoozefest following his monologue a much-needed splash of dopeness occurred when literally, the King and Queen of Everything, Jay-Z and Beyonce made an appearance. Of course, their arrival woke everyone up from their Golden Globes induced nap, and luckily for them when the cool kids arrived they came bearing gifts.

Their surprise appearance caused tongues to wag and salivate as thirst for being in their presence became evident. But why so thirsty y'all? This is a fancy seated dinner, right? Cosmo reports there was tons of champagne to quench their thirsts, but for whatever reason when The Carters arrived with their own it became the biggest temptation in the room.
MailOnline later confirmed the bottles were Ace of Spades Champagne, which is produced by Armand de Brignac, of which Jay-Z bought a $200million stake in 2017.

One person who was living for the Carters supreme reign of the Golden Globes Kingdom was loyal subject Reese Witherspoon, who along with her Morning Show co-star and friend Jennifer Aniston became so blinded by the beauty of Queen Bey and her golden hued angel wings (AKA sharp 80's shoulder puffs) she dare request a glass of their exclusive nectar once her table ran out of water. But the Queen was more than happy to oblige!
Aniston was so touched by the gesture she shared it with her Instagram followers, probably making it the highlight of the evening after being surrounded by so many stuffy folks. However, the blessings didn't stop there. Buzzfeed Reports;
Reese was in for a big surprise because when she recently got home from New York, she was welcomed with even more champagne! Posting a bunch of videos to her Instagram story, Reese revealed Jay and Beyoncé had sent her a huge bunch of flowers and a case of Ace of Spades for good measure!
Witherspoon didn't just keep the King and Queen's bounty for herself because she shared a glass with her mother Betty, who was more than happy to tickle her tonsils with the bubbly serum of success. At one point she asks her daughter, who cracked the bottle open at 11:30 in the morning " Is it too early to drink?" to which Witherspoon replied "Who cares!". Yes indeed, who cares what time it is when the Carters send you some of their name brand champagne. Drink it, shut up and be merry.
