'Survivor: San Juan del Sur': And the eliminated contestant is...

There was a huge blow-up after the immunity challenge in tonight’s episode of Survivor: San Juan del Sur. What happened and who went home as a result? My full recap will be up later [UPDATE: Dalton’s recap is now live], but to find out and sound off on what happened, read on for more. [SPOILER ALERT: Read on only if you have already watched Wednesday’s episode of Survivor: San Juan del Sur — Blood vs. Water.]

Upset that their loved ones were the first two players voted out, Jeremy and Natalie sought revenge. And they sought it in the form of John Rocker. After informing his tribe of Rocker’s controversial past comments on race and homosexuality, Jeremy just had to sit back and watch Natalie light into the former baseball player after Hunahpu won its third straight immunity challenge.

After telling the Coyopa tribe members that they were “following a racist” and pointing out all the challenges he had lost, Natalie addressed Rocker directly, asking “Why don’t you say something homophobic or racist like in your past?” Rocker’s response: “If you were a man I would knock your teeth out.” He also suggested that they “take all the stuff down. Let’s fight.” Great solution!

Natalie’s speech did have its intended result, however, as Josh — who was already having second thoughts about John after watching him share info with Val — talked about the dangers of premature alliances and getting stuck with people who “stand for so many things that I’m against.” Sure enough, at the next Tribal Council, Rocker was voted out with a hidden immunity idol sitting in his pocket.

You can go read my full recap, or sound off right here and right now in the message boards below as to what you thought of the episode. Glad to see Rocker go? Should Jeremy and Natalie have left his past in the past? You can also enjoy our pre-game interview with John and Julie in the video player below.
