'Sharknado 3' gets a title and a premiere date
Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! is coming to Syfy Wednesday, July 22, the network and The Asylum announced Wednesday. In addition to the U.S., the two-hour original movie will make its debut in 86 countries within 24 hours of the U.S. premiere.
“We wanted this third title to boldly go where no shark movie has gone before,” Chris Regina, Senior Vice President, Program Strategy said in a release. “Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! embraces the larger-than-life irreverence that has made these movies so popular and entertaining.”
The latest installment features numerous guest appearances along with the return of stars Tara Reid and Ian Ziering. Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! cameos include Michele Bachmann, Mark Cuban, Ann Coulter, Jerry Springer, *NSYNC’s Chris Kirkpatrick, and others. Announced on March 18 was the addition of David Hasselhoff to the cast, as the father of Fin (Ian Ziering).
