'RHONJ' Joe Giudice's daughter asks President Trump to stop father's deportation

It's a long shot, but Teresa and Joe Giudice's daughter hopes her love and an intervention by President Donald Trump will spare her father from being deported.

Just days after authorities dismissed an appeal by Giudice, of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” fame, to remain in the country, his teen daughter expressed her love.

"We will never stop fighting for you daddy," shared his daughter Milania, 14, in a throw-back photo.

Milania is shown being held by her father. She tagged Trump in her Instagram message.

"It’s not the same without you. I miss you terribly," she continued. "I wouldn’t be the person I am today with out you. I wouldn’t know how to stay strong. I need you home daddy. All I want is to be a family again. I love you endlessy buddy."

She added the hashtag, "Free Joe Giudice."

In an Instagram repost of a family portrait, Giudice's eldest daughter, Gia, 18, also asked the president to spare her father, who "committed a minor crime to support his family."

Giudice, 46, served a 41-month prison term for tax fraud. In October 2018, an immigration court ruled that Giudice would be deported to Italy after completing his federal sentence. The government can deport anyone not a U.S. citizen if they commit a crime. Giudice was brought from Italy to the United States by his parents when he was a 1-year-old, and he never became a U.S. citizen.

His lawyers said they were disappointed that his appeal was struck down, and they filed a petition last week for a federal court to review the decision.

"We are extremely disappointed that the Board of Immigration Appeals has denied Mr. Giudice’s appeal,” said attorney James J. Leonard Jr. in a statement to the USA TODAY Network. “We have filed a stay with the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and will continue to fight to keep Mr. Giudice in the United States, the only country he knows, and reunite him with his wife and four daughters.”
