'House of Lies' taps Wanda Sykes, Ken Marino for guest roles

Wanda Sykes and Ken Marino are coming to House of Lies in the name of love.

Showtime announced on Monday that Sykes, whose credits include Curb Your Enthusiasm and The New Adventures of Old Christine, will appear in at least three episodes of the management-consultant comedy. Sykes will play a romantic interest for Jeremiah (Glynn Turman) named, yes, Wanda, who is a “much-needed confidante for Marty (Don Cheadle)” as he wants to becomes a global force.

Marino, he of Party Down and Wet Hot American Summer fame, will pop up as Mark and have an amorous connection with Jeannie (Kristen Bell), making for a tinyVeronica Mars reunion.

The love connections don’t end there: Matador‘s Nicky Whelan will guest-star as Marty’s raw food chef girlfriend.

Season 5 of House of Lies will begin production this month and hit the air next year.
