'Gravity' wins Best of Show at Golden Trailer Awards
The 15th annual Golden Trailer Awards were held in Beverly Hills on Friday night, celebrating the best previews of the past year and secretly everyone’s favorite part about going to the movies.
Warner Brothers was the big winner of the night taking home 15 awards total including being named Best of Show for the trailer “Detached” of the Oscar-winning film Gravity. Other winners include Frozen for Best Animation/Family trailer, Dallas Buyers Club for Best Independent Trailer and Godzilla for Best Summer Blockbuster trailer. The Golden Trailer Awards were started in 1999 by Evelyn Brady-Watters and Monica Brady. “The Golden Trailer Awards represent the absolute best in marketing innovation and creativity. The show is always a really fun night of celebration and we couldn’t be more proud of the nominees and winners,” said Brady-Watters. This year saw the most contest submission in the awards 15 year history.
