THR digs into 'Hush... Hush, Sweet Charlotte's' history ahead of Sunday’s episode of the FX series.
dtairtime: Obamacare only works for you if you don't work. My co-workers son, who works in a chain restaurant as a cook (so he makes less than $15 an hour), is forced to buy a plan and pay way more than he can afford for it. This plan covers things he will never need, yet their inclusion drives up his cost, so that someone who doesn't work can get it for free. He is responsible so he didn't have a couple kids he couldn't afford or he would be getting his entire brood covered for free, be getting food stamps, getting section 8 housing, cash assistance, etc. Something is really wrong when the more we do for the poor doesn't equate to fewer poor, but more of them. That means one thing - rewarding bad behavior gets you more of it. Amnesty for illegals? More illegals crossing. More cash and freebies if you have a kid you can't afford? More kids being born to the worst possible demographics. History shows this is ALWAYS the result of holding out a carrot but never smacking stupid with a stick.
