'Clone Wars': Chat live with Boba Fett (a.k.a. Daniel Logan) tonight starting at 7:40 p.m. ET

Tonight starting at 7:40 p.m. ET/4:40 p.m. PT, actor Daniel Logan will be joining EW.com for a live chat. The actor otherwise known as Boba Fett will be adding his commentary to tonight’s epic Clone Wars installment, “Bounty,” and taking your questions. He has been advised that no disintegrations will be tolerated.

Logan has basically grown up with Boba Fett. The 24-year-old New Zealand native first played Han Solo’s future nemesis onscreen as a 13-year-old in Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones, when it was revealed that Boba was actually a clone of the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett. “I was the kid who prayed the most and that’s why I got Star Wars,” Logan jokes. Starting in 2010, he began voicing an older, more seasoned version of the character on The Clone Wars. If his Boba in Attack of the Clones was basically just a kid who idolized his father, on The Clone Wars we’ve seen him become harder, scrappier, and decidedly more deadly, as he’s been forced to survive in the galaxy on his own, following his father’s beheading at the hands of Jedi Mace Windu. Still, the Boba we see on The Clone Wars is pretty rough-around-the-edges compared to the taciturn bounty hunter who’s on Darth Vader’s speed-dial in The Empire Strikes Back. And Logan’s done a fine jab of showing him in the different stages of his career. “Boba still has a long way to go,” Logan says. “Compared to an established bounty hunter like Cad Bane, he’s pretty green.”

In “Bounty,” Boba’s out of prison and putting together a posse for one tough, Leone-esque job: protecting a precious shipment as it journeys across a planet via an underground hoverrail system. Think of it like Once Upon a Time in the West, with Boba in the Henry Fonda role. Of course, one of his new recruits is ex-Nightsister Asajj Ventress, who’s trying to form a new identity after the destruction of her people in last week’s “Massacre.” Another is Dengar, voiced by frantic franchise hopper Simon Pegg, who really after his encroachment in Star Wars may have no more worlds left to conquer. “It’s kind of like an old Western,” Logan says. “Jango Fett ran along with these bounty hunters, so they all pretty much knew each other.”

Join us at 7:40 p.m. ET/4:40 p.m. PT tonight to chat live with Daniel. Be there, or risk having him put a bounty on your head. And we all know, a death mark isn’t an easy thing to live with.
