The 33-year-old rapper and Rihanna welcomed a baby boy in Los Angeles, People and Entertainment Tonight reported May 19. TMZ, the first outlet to publish the news, reported Rihanna gave birth on May 13.

Rocky discussed parenting and the ideology he hopes to teach their son in a Dazed Summer 2022 cover interview published Monday.

"I will always remind my children to never lose their imagination, even as adults, no matter what … I hope to raise open-minded children. Not people who discriminate," he said of fatherhood. "And I’m not trying to describe a saint, but realistically, I just want a cool child with cool parents."

The "D.M.B." rapper added: "Things like diversity and versatility are important, and they’ll be embedded in the household."
