UPDATED, 7:50 a.m.: Columbia Pictures has unveiled a new trailer for its rom-com Anyone But You, starring Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria) and Glen Powell (Top Gun: Maverick), which hits theaters December 22nd.

The pair star respectively as Bea and Ben, who look like the perfect couple. But after an amazing first date something happens that turns their fiery hot attraction ice cold — until they find themselves unexpectedly thrust together at a destination wedding in Australia. So they do what any two mature adults would do: pretend to be a couple.

PREVIOUSLY, OCTOBER 19: If you’ve seen the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie, you’ve likely already gotten a look at Anyone but You, but if you haven’t, here’s your chance: Sony Pictures has released the teaser trailer that’s been getting some terrific exposure playing at the Swift screenings.

With a classic rom-com set-up — they hate each other, they love each other — Anyone but You stars Euphoria‘s Sydney Sweeney as Bea and Hit Man‘s Glen Powell as Ben, two very good-looking people who pretend to be a couple while attending a destination wedding in Australia. Why? Take a look at the teaser, set to WizTheMc’s new track “Death of Me,” above.

“There’s no way we can convince anyone we actually like each other,” Powell’s Ben insists.

“Trust me,” responds Sweeney’s Bea. “We’re at a wedding, a million miles away from home. Who knows what could happen?”

If you’re thinking one of the things that could happen is romance, or maybe a punch to the groin, well, yeah.

Directed by Will Gluck (Easy A) from a story by Ilana Wolpert and screenplay by Wolpert and Gluck, Anyone but You looks to be the standout screwball comedy option for the Christmas holidays. The trailer debuted earlier this month during the studio’s presentation at CinemaCon.

Produced by Gluck, Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum, Anyone but You exec producers are Alyssa Altman, Jacqueline Monetta, Catherine Bishop, Natalie Sellers, Charlie Corwin, Sidney Kimmel, Mark O’Connor, Sydney Sweeney and Jonathan Davino.

The romantic comedy also stars Alexandra Shipp, GaTa, Hadley Robinson, Michelle Hurd, Dermot Mulroney, Darren Barnet and Rachel Griffiths.

Anyone but You hits theaters December 22.
