It appears Anya Taylor-Joy is in her rock-star era, and we are absolutely living for it. On the heels of the statement-making leather dress she wore last week, the actor brought the house down again in another grungy look.

Taylor-Joy seems to be taking a page out of Zendaya’s longtime stylist Law Roach’s book by “method dressing”—embracing her character from her forthcoming movie Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga with her edgy outfits. For Sunday’s look, which she wore to watch the New York Knicks play the Chicago Bulls at Madison Square Garden with husband Malcolm McRae, she showed us how biker chic is done. The Split star stepped out in hot, glossy black leather pants that featured a cutout down the center of each leg with a lace-up pattern within. She paired the daring bottoms with a ribbed white tank top, layered under a fitted black leather motorcycle jacket. Taylor-Joy oozed even more cool in square-toe platform stiletto boots and dramatic dark tortoiseshell cat-eye shades. And, to really prove she’s that girl, she added a pop of this season’s It color, cherry red, via her small quilted top-handle purse. The actor eschewed jewelry, wore fresh makeup complete with a berry-tinted lip and merlot-red manicure, and wore her golden blonde locks down and straight with a middle part.

McRae looked suave beside her in a striped navy blue suit, paired with a crisp white button-down shirt, a quirky burnt-orange patterned tie, and classic dress shoes.

Taylor-Joy kicked off her rocker rebrand earlier this month at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. There, she captivated in a black leather dress from Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s Fall/Winter 2024 ready-to-wear collection. The piece looked like one long studded belt that wrapped around her body, creating a crisscross halter neckline and a decorative strip that hung off the bottom hem. She paired the alternative frock with inky-black stiletto heels and accented the look with dark, smoky makeup.
