Antonio Brown flips Gatorade cooler as Steelers' struggles continue
It hasn’t been pretty for the talented Pittsburgh Steelers offense so far this year, and it got ugly for a few minutes on the sideline in Sunday’s 26-9 victory against the Baltimore Ravens.
Even normally mild-mannered star Antonio Brown got ticked off.
That’s Brown flipping a Gatorade cooler and then yelling at offensive coordinator Todd Haley. He was also incensed with his quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger. Roethlisberger had missed a wide-open Brown on the play before, a third-and-2, and the Steelers had to punt.
Pittsburgh, 2-1 on the year entering Sunday’s game, struggled offensively, especially on the road. The Steelers snuck by the Cleveland Browns 21-18 in Week 1 before beating the Sam Bradford-less Minnesota Vikings 26-9 in Week 2. But they struggled in Week 3, falling to the lowly Bears 23-17 in overtime.
Brown is up to his usual tricks three games into the year — 26 catches for 354 yards — but he wasn’t happy with his involvement against the Ravens. The Steelers rank 21st in yards per game.
Brown finished with four catches for 34 yards, a season low.
