Antonio Banderas says ex-wife Melanie Griffith is 'one of my best friends'

Antonio Banderas says there's no bad blood between him and ex-wife Melanie Griffith — in fact, things between them are great.

During an interview with Vulture, the actor, 59, gushed about the actress, 62, who he was married to from 1996 to 2015.

“I am not married with Melanie anymore, but she is my family,” he said. “She is probably one of my best friends, if not the best friend that I have. My family is there, Dakota (Johnson), Little Estella and Alexander (Bauer).”

Banderas and Griffith share one child together: 22-year-old Stella Banderas.

Griffith has two other children: Johnson, 29, and Bauer, 34.

She made headlines earlier this month for affirming Johnson's relationship with Chris Martin.

"I love my daughter’s boyfriend," the "Working Girl" actress told People Now. "I think that they’re an awesome couple."

The happy couple were spotted together in as early as October 2017, and they're going strong.
