Antoni Porowski and Kevin Harrington are ending their engagement.

"After many conversations and reflection during the wedding planning process, Antoni and Kevin have amicably decided to part ways," a representative for Porowski tells PEOPLE exclusively. "While they still have a lot of respect for each other, as they talked more about the future, they realized they were on different paths."

"They both remain focused on work, and are surrounding themselves with friends during this time," the representative added.

Porowski — who will host the upcoming series No Taste Like Home on National Geographic — and his longtime partner got engaged in November 2022 after three years of dating. To announce the engagement, the Queer Eye star shared a selfie of the two on Instagram with a caption that poked fun at the grainy quality of the snap.

"I really hope the wedding photos are less blurry 🙏🏼," he wrote.

Harrington, a brand strategy director, also shared the celebratory news on his Instagram. Along with two sweet photos of the pair — including a shirtless selfie — he posted a third photo of them in zombie-like makeup. "Officially together until we look like the last pic #engaged," he quipped.

In September, Porowski had a bachelor weekend in Blackberry Mountain in Walland, Tenn. Among those who joined him for the fun in the woods were his Queer Eye colleague Tan France, model Gigi Hadid and Benji Pasek.

Porowski and Harrington's relationship "escalated quickly" during the pandemic, Porowski previously told PEOPLE.

In March 2020, the food and drink expert was filming Queer Eye in Austin and Harrington was visiting him from New York City. His trip to Austin was only meant to last four days, but was ultimately extended.

"It came to a shutdown in New York — there was no toilet paper — and we decided to stay in Austin and fostered a dog," Porowski told PEOPLE. "We went from being in a relationship and each having our own apartments and not having a dog, to living in the same place with a dog."

Porowski's upcoming series No Taste Like Home, created by Gordon Ramsay's studio, will see the star travel to destinations like South Korea, Italy, New York and Texas with a celebrity guest whose family was native to the location. There, the two will learn about culinary traditions and dive into the intersection between culture and food.

"I am so grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, alongside some wonderful friends both new and old, traveling the globe, making up for all the times I skipped geography class in high school, to explore food traditions and cultures," Porowski said in a statement.

Queer Eye premieres its 8th season on Jan. 24, 2024 on Netflix.
