Anthony Scaramucci Rips Steve Bannon’s ‘Messianic Complex,’ White Nationalist ‘Tendencies’

Anthony Scaramucci isn’t holding back when it comes to talking about former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon, whom he says has a “messianic complex” and white nationalist “tendencies.”

While guest-hosting “The View” on Friday, the short-lived White House communications director was all too happy to name the “most unlikeable” person in Donald Trump’s White House while he was there. In his opinion, there were two: Bannon and former Chief of Staff Reince Priebus.

About Bannon, Scaramucci said, “He’s a great speechwriter, he has great linguistic skills” but his worst quality is that he “had a little bit of a messianic complex.”

“He got very mad at me for going to Davos, Switzerland, to speak at the World Economic Forum,” Scaramucci said. Since Bannon is an “anti-globalist” and the chair of Breitbart News, Scaramucci said Bannon was opposed to the forum on principle: “That put me in disfavor with him.”

“People that have messianic complexes, they think that they’re the answer, they’re the solution,” he continued.

“The View” cohost Sunny Hostin then chimed in, “People also say that he’s a white nationalist,” to which Scaramucci responded, “Is he a white nationalist? I would say that he has those tendencies.”

“If you read Breitbart, there’s a lot of that white nationalist, economic fervor,” he added.

A spokesperson for Breitbart has not yet responded to TheWrap’s request for comment.
