“The Masked Singer” began it’s milestone 10th season on Wednesday, September 27 with the “Season 10 Premiere” episode on FOX. Five mystery celebrities belted out some of pop music’s biggest hits, but it was Rubber Ducky who was sent packing after a subpar performance of “Come On Eileen” by Dexys Midnight Runners. The soapy bath toy was unmasked to reveal Emmy-nominated actor and producer Anthony Anderson.

“I would have to say this is the most bizarre thing I have ever done,” the “Black-ish” star told host Nick Cannon during his unmasked interview. “I’m naked under these bubbles right now. Don’t let the tights below the knees fool you.”

Before Anderson unmasked the panelists submitted one final guess for who they thought was hiding inside the Rubber Ducky costume. In an extremely rare occurrence, only Ken Jeong was correct. Robin Thicke thought the bubbly crooner was David Arquette, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg guessed Marlon Wayans and Nicole Scherzinger said he was Jaleel White.

In his clue package Rubber Ducky said, “Hey there, the name’s Rubber Ducky. I’m ready to splash on the stage. Here’s how my story goes: Movies and TV shows, I’m used to being the rage. Oh yeah, I started out pretty humble. Came up from nothing to fame. Nice to see you all. Tried stand-up comedy, learned it wasn’t for me, but now I’m a household name. I didn’t say that I made my way solitarily. Great crowd tonight! Let’s get it. Oh, no, no, behind everything I do is my family. You know it. So now that you see, heeere, we go. A little more about me. Bring it home, gentlemen, come on! I’ll quack my way to the finale. Hey, rubba dub dub.” None of that was a typo, I promise. It was just this wacky creature’s way of speaking. Visual clues included a VHS tape that said “The Horror! 3-4”, a photo of Leonardo DiCaprio and a golden turtle.
