Anthony Anderson and his ex-wife Alvina Stewart Anderson have settled their divorce.

In court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the estranged couple filed a declaration of uncontested default on Sept. 14 and have entered into a written agreement detailing the specifics of their split.

Per the documents, the black-ish actor, 53, will pay his ex-wife spousal support as well as cover her attorney fees.

Alvina previously filed for divorce in 2015, citing irreconcilable differences. In the docs, obtained by PEOPLE at the time, she requested spousal support and listed their date of separation as April 1, 2014.

She filed to dismiss the divorce petition in January 2017. According to E! News, they appeared to reconcile their marriage at the time.

Then, on March 25, 2022, Alvina filed for divorce for a second time. She cited the date of the former couple's separation as "TBD." At the time, she sought out spousal support in her filing and requested that Anthony pay her attorney's fees.

Alvina also requested that property acquired throughout the marriage be treated as "community" property, all of which she wanted to be divided between the exes. Items listed under separate property included "all gifts and inheritance, all assets, earnings, accumulations, and debts" she acquired before entering the marriage.

Shortly after, Anthony responded to her request for divorce and listed their date of separation as Feb. 25, 2022 and indicated irreconcilable differences as the cause of their split.

The documents obtained by PEOPLE at the time stated that the actor requested that spousal support be reserved for "future determination" and that his estranged wife would receive such compensation. He, however, wanted both parties to cover the costs of their respective attorney's fees.

The former Law & Order star eventually agreed to pay Alvina spousal support and the estranged couple mutually decided to sell their Encino, California, property and split the profits evenly between them.

"My sophomore year, her freshman year, I knew a girl who lived in the apartment, so I went to knock on the door to invite her to this party that me and my buddies were having. My wife answered the door. I was like, 'I was coming to invite Stacey to this party we're having.' Stacey didn't show up, but my wife did – and we have been together ever since that night," he told Parade in December. "And I was just me: I got there early, she didn't see nobody else, she was, 'All right, I'm gonna rock out with this dude!'"
