Ant Anstead and Renée Zellweger Will Relocate to London While She Films “Bridget Jones’s Diary 4”: Source

The ‘Radford Reborn’ host and the Oscar-winning actress, who have been dating for nearly three years, also share a home in Southern California

Ant Anstead and Renée Zellweger are decamping to the U.K.

The Radford Reborn host, 45, is planning to temporarily relocate from Southern California to his native London to be with the Judy actress, 54, while she films the fourth installment of the Bridget Jones’s Diary series, a source tells PEOPLE.

"Ant is going over to the U.K. with Renée while she is filming [Bridge Jones's Diary 4] later this year,” the source says. “Ant is excited to spend time with his older kiddos."

The British-born car expert shares daughter Amelie, 20, and son Archie, 17, with his first wife Louise Storey. They live in the U.K. while his 4-year-old son Hudson, whom he shares with ex-wife Christina Hall, lives in California.

Zellweger will reprise her iconic role as Bridget Jones in the franchise's fourth film, which follows the previous releases Bridget Jones’s Baby (2016), Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004) and the original Bridget Jones’s Diary (2001).

During an April 2022 interview on Sirius XM's The Jess Cagle Show, Zellweger expressed that she’s eager to play Bridget Jones again in as the character is “so much fun.”

The film also has a comical place in Anstead and Zellweger's relationship history: Before they met on his discovery+ show Celebrity IOU: Joyride in 2021, Anstead thought the actress was actually British because of her iconic role. His reaction to the news she's from Texas is included in the episode that sparked their romance.

Though Anstead will make the temporary move back to London with his award-winning actress girlfriend, the couple — who have been in a relationship for nearly three years — already have a place together in Orange County.

In April 2023, a source revealed to PEOPLE that the pair had "found a house that they both love and are moving in together" after Anstead decided to sell his beloved Temple House in Laguna Beach, Calif. that same month.

"Temple is sold," he confirmed to PEOPLE at the time. He added that the off-market sale "came at the right time, for another property and a change in my personal life that I'm really pleased about. So I was like, yeah. I made the call there and then."

The dad of three made a rare mention of his shared home with Zellweger in February after his friend from England came to visit.

In a comment on his friend’s post that consisted of photos from her visit, Anstead wrote: “Come back already!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸 Cali calls for you! Ren and I have the spare room poised x.”

He also reshared his friend’s post to his Instagram Story and included the caption, “Ren and I loved having you over….. Now hurry up and come back to Cali! X”
