On Tuesday's night episode of Jeopardy! there was both a Rhode Islander competing and a question made for a Rhode Islander to get.

In the category, "those who celebrate" the clue for $1,200 was:

Answer: "In 1772 the British sent the HMS Gaspee to patrol this bay; Rhode Islanders burned it and now celebrate by burning it again."

Are you jumping out of your seat? Do you know it?

What is the Narragansett Bay? Of course!

Unfortunately, the Rhode Island contestant, Sharon Bishop, was not the fastest to the buzzer and missed the chance to answer that question.

How did Pawtucket resident Sharon Bishop do in the Jeopardy! Second Chance tournament?

Jeopardy! is currently running a "Second Chance" tournament, bringing back players "who didn’t become 'Jeopardy!' champions in their initial appearances last season, but whose performances convinced the 'Jeopardy!' producers that they have what it takes to win on the Alex Trebek Stage if given a second chance to compete," according to a news release announcing the tournament.

A teacher at Davies Career & Technical High School, Bishop competed on Jeopardy! in July, but came in second. When she heard about the second chance tournament, she was quick to seize a chance to get back on the stage.

But, despite a competitive game and being the only contestant to correctly answer the final Jeopardy! question, she finished in second place, knocking her out of the tournament.
