Another country star is on the way to the Sound Amphitheater, a new Coast venue making its debut Friday in Gautier.

As she wraps up her Velvet Rodeo residency in Las Vegas, Miranda Lambert is hitting the road and her tour comes to the Sound Amphitheater on Friday, Sept. 27.

Tickets go on sale April 12 at Ticketmaster.com and mirandalambert.com.

The country singer and songwriter has 10 No. 1 singles and is best known for “The House That Built Me,” “Mama’s Broken Heart,” “Tin Man” and “Over You.”

“I’ve been touring since I was 19 years old, so it was nice to step away from the road for a bit and settle into Vegas,” Lambertsaid. “That gave us time to miss touring though, so I cannot wait to get back out there on Elvira, my home away from home, and visit the fans across the country that we haven’t seen in a while.”

Sound Amphitheater is off U.S. 90 in Gautier, at 3855 Dolphin Drive and is north of the former site of the Singing River Mall.

The schedule this first year are:

April 12 — KC & The Sunshine Band is the opening show and tickets are $20 through Ticketmaster.

April 19 — Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit with North Mississippi Allstars. Tickets start at $40 and run to about $250 for floor seats close to the stage

May 24 — Justin Moore with Chris Cagle. Tickets start at $25 to $250 for front row seats

Aug. 4 — Dirty Heads and Slightly Stoopid

Sept. 27 — Miranda Lambert

Sept. 28 — Melissa Etheridge and Jewel. Tickets start at $30.50. VIP packages run from $155 to $889.
