On the first anniversary of Annie Wersching’s far-too-soon passing, the actress’ family shared a beautiful tribute on Instagram.

“We are hit with a sadness that never seems to fade,” the Monday-morning post, shown below, reads. “But, we are also reminded that every cloud, flower, bird, rainbow, sun and moon is filled with all of her love times one million. Forever in our hearts. Forever a bond that’s never broken.”

Wersching, who starred in 24, Bosch and Timeless (among many other TV programs), died on Jan. 29, 2023 at the age of 45. She passed away following a battle with cancer, for which she was first diagnosed in 2020.

Wersching was survived by husband Stephen Full (Santa Clarita Diet, Dog With a Blog) and their three sons: Freddie, now 13; Ozzie, 10; and Archie, 5.

The family’s Instagram remembrance includes a light-hearted photo of all five of them, plus one of Full and the three sons, seemingly from the day of her funeral.

Several of Wersching’s onetime castmates marked the anniversary as well.

“We miss and love you, sweet Annie,” commented Kevin Weisman, who co-starred with Wersching on Marvel’s Runaways. “May your memory be a blessing.”

“Sending so much love,” said fellow 24 alum Nazneen Contractor. “Was just thinking today that I can’t believe she’s gone.”

Matt Lanter (Timeless), Michelle Hurd (Star Trek: Picard) and Harold Perrineau (The Rookie) also expressed their love for Wersching.

Wersching continued working right up until her death, with recurring roles in both Star Trek: Picard and The Rookie. Her other TV credits included Extant, The Vampire Diaries, Castle, Revolution, Angel, Frasier, General Hospital and more. She also provided the voice/performance for Tess in the 2013 video game The Last of Us, which has been adapted into an HBO series.

A February 2023 episode of Star Trek: Picard paid tribute to Wersching (with a “For Annie” title card), as did October’s Bosch: Legacy Season 2 premiere (which had an on-screen dedication to both Wersching and the late Lance Reddick).
