The actress and daughter of Glenn Close is opening up her family's Bozeman, Montana ranch for her upcoming Magnolia Network series, The Mountain Kitchen. In a first look at the trailer, shared exclusively with PEOPLE, Starke, 35, explains that she’s “been obsessed with food, entertaining, and the great outdoors for as long as I can remember.”

Starke, a native New Yorker, adds that she moved to Montana with her husband Marc Albu to be closer to family, which allows her “to do all of those things, all the time.”

"My life now is all about ranching, mountain living and creating delicious dishes, in and out of the kitchen, with a touch of wild and a little bit of fire," she says.

Starke, whose father is Close’s ex-boyfriend, producer John H. Starke, has starred in Netflix's Ratched, and alongside her mom in 2017's The Wife. (Close makes occasional appearances on The Mountain Kitchen.)

"I had a profoundly normal childhood,” Starke told PEOPLE in 2018. “I’m a little boring. I was a barefoot kid, outdoorsy, never had siblings, but I had cats and dogs, and really surrounded by nature. I credit my parents for keeping me grounded and keeping it normal.”

The Mountain Kitchen airs Sunday, Nov. 5 at 1:30/12:30c on Magnolia Network and streams every Sunday on Max and discovery+.
