Annette Bening and Greta Gerwig Play ‘Family Feud’ on ‘Tonight Show’

On The Tonight Show, two stars from the upcoming film 20th Century Women, Annette Bening and Greta Gerwig, joined Jimmy Fallon to take on the Roots in a special edition of Family Feud, hosted by Steve Harvey.

The first challenge was to name an animal that some people sound like when they laugh. Fallon answered “hyena,” the No. 1 answer, but he may have set the bar too high for his teammates. Bening responded with “parrot,” which wasn’t on the board. Gerwig answered, “Meow,” giving the team its second strike — and giving the Roots a chance to steal.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on NBC.
