Anne Hathaway Sings the Wrong Lyrics to Hit Songs on ‘The Tonight Show’

Anne Hathaway stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote her new movie, Colossal. While she was there, Jimmy thought he’d take advantage of her lovely singing voice. So the two played a round of Google Translate Songs, in which the lyrics of songs were translated into another language on Google, and then back to English.

The first song Anne sang was “Can’t Feel My Face” by the Weeknd, although the title was translated into “My Front Is Not Felt.” Anne sang, “In your presence my front is not felt, hey it is good, hey it is good.”

Jimmy was up next with the Gloria Gaynor classic “I Will Survive,” which was translated into “I Will Be Punctual.” Jimmy sang, “I live all my life was yes, all my love given yes and, I never punctual, I will be punctual, hey, hey!” Following the performance, Jimmy joked about Gloria missing an opportunity, saying, “She should have done that. It would have been a hit song if she did that.”

In the end, the two got together for an amazing duet of Pink’s hit “Just Give Me a Reason,” which was hilariously translated into “Only Tell Me Ground.”

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on NBC. Watch clips and full episodes of The Tonight Show for free on Yahoo View.
