Anne Hathaway Schools James Corden in Rap Battle

Anne Hathaway may have grown up on the quiet streets of Millburn, New Jersey, but that didn’t stop her from throwing down in a gritty rap battle on The Late Late Show With James Corden. The host started off the battle with some low blows like, “The only Catwoman I acknowledge is Halle Berry,” and Anne shot right back with “A Catwoman diss? Gosh what do I do? I can’t make fun of you James ‘cause no one’s heard of you.”

The repartee escalated until Anne ended what James started on a slightly more positive note. The Alice Through the Looking Glass star told Corden, “I’ve heard everything, and none of it broke me. I love you, I love your show, I love Carpool Karaoke. I’ll battle with love and joy so I am always unafraid, but son, now you know how it feels to get Hatha-slayed.”
