Anne Hathaway Instagram is the most-liked #ElectionDay post

The first winner on Election Day is… Anne Hathaway.

While the votes for president are still being tallied, the Oscar winning actress has won the honor of the most-liked #ElectionDay Instagram post. Throughout Tuesday, celebrities having been sharing their own voting photos, but currently with over 315,000 likes, Hathaway has the most popular picture, according to the platform.

Sporting the obligatory, “I voted” sticker in her selfie, Interstellar actress wrote, “Today is #ElectionDay! Have you made your voice heard yet? Check the link in my bio to find out where to vote.”

Coming in a distant second in the #ElectionDay Instagram running is singer Nick Jonas with more than 230,000 likes, with NASA, The White House, and Tyler Oakley rounding out the top five.

Miley Cyrus was not to be outdone. Her own “I voted” selfie has racked up over 380,000 likes, placing it at the top of the #ImWithHer category of hashtags. For those that posted photos with the Clinton-leaning hashtag, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Kris Jenner, and Karlie Kloss also had top-liked posts.

Vote While You float: An Astronaut Voting Story - With the excitement of getting to the polls on Election Day many people will have a hard time keeping their feet on the ground, but astronauts who vote literally have to strap themselves down so they don't float away. Astronauts orbit the Earth at 17,000 miles per hour, but thanks to a bill passed by Texas legislatures in 1997 that put in place technical voting procedure for astronauts - nearly all of whom live in Texas - they also have the ability to vote from space! For astronauts, the voting process starts a year before launch, when astronauts are able to select which elections (local/state/federal) that they want to participate in while in space. Then, six months before the election, astronauts are provided with a standard form: the "Voter Registration and Absentee Ballot Request - Federal Post Card Application." While astronauts don't have to wait in line for their ballot like the rest of us, there is one disadvantage to voting in space: they miss out on the highly coveted "I Voted" sticker.
