Anna Culp Upped To EVP Of Motion Pictures At Imagine Entertainment
Imagine Entertainment has promoted Anna Culp to be the company’s new EVP of Motion Pictures, the company has announced.
Culp has been with Imagine for the past 17 years is currently executive producing Inferno, the latest film adaptation of the Robert Langdon series of novels by Dan Brown, directed by Ron Howard and starring Tom Hanks. She’s also executive producing Love The Coopers, directed by Jessie Nelson and starring Diane Keaton, Alan Arkin, Marisa Tomei, Ed Helms, Amanda Seyfried, Olivia Wilde, and Jake Lacy. She is also currently developing The Emperor’s Children, written by Noah Baumbach, directed by Lake Bell and starring Jeff Bridges; and Sick Day, which stars Johnny Knoxville.
Culp started her film career in production on numerous commercials and films before graduating from the University of Richmond. She joined Imagine as assistant to producer Brian Grazer, and later served as Story Editor, Creative Executive, Director of Development, VP and SVP before now. Films she worked on during this period include A Beautiful Mind, 8 Mile, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, Cinderella Man, Da Vinci Code, and J. Edgar.
Among other projects, she executive produced the documentary Prophet’s Prey, directed by Amy Berg, and Universal’s Get On Up, directed by Tate Taylor. She co-produced Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D, for Paramount Insurge, and was an associate producer on Angels And Demons for Sony Pictures.
