Anitta may have looked to friend Paris Hilton for inspiration when picking her latest red-carpet look. At the Latin American Music Awards on Thursday night, the singer meant business in a structured little black dress from the Mugler Spring/Summer ’24 ready-to-wear collection—a look that was actually worn by Hilton when it debuted on the runway.

The piece included a corset-style bodice with textured lines going vertically across it, but the silhouette was broken up into distinct sections, which gave the dress a very three-dimensional appearance. Up top, the LBD featured a boatneck, which cut sharply across Anitta’s collarbone and created right angles along the shoulders, where the fabric turned downward into long sleeves with button closures along the hems. As for the bottom of the dress, it followed Anitta’s frame like a bodysuit, but the square bottom hem stuck out and stopped right near the top of the singer’s thighs.

To keep the look monochromatic, the Brazilian pop star paired the piece with black tights and added a pair of inky slingbacks in a shiny patent leather. For accessories, Anitta went simple, with a single diamond tennis necklace and thin diamond earrings that looked like shark teeth. In a casually cool move, the singer also sported black Prada sunglasses as she posed on the carpet.

When the dress premiered on the runway last fall, it was modeled by none other than Hilton, who also wore the piece with black heels and carried a black handbag as well. Given the pair’s friendship, it’s not a huge surprise to see Anitta repping a look debuted by the socialite. In fact, it’s not even the first time they’ve both worn the same look. Last year, the duo posed for a photo in which they both sported baby-pink tracksuits from Hilton’s Lele Pons line. “#Sliving with the gorgeous Anitta in my iconic tracksuit collection while we got ready for Lele Pons special day,” Hilton wrote in her caption.
