Animal Planet has named Amy Introcaso-Davis as its new executive vice president of development and production.
Introcaso-Davis comes from E!, where she was EVP of programming and development since 2017. There, she realigned the network’s development strategy and was behind “Very Cavallari” and “The Soup” reboot.
In her new role, Introcaso-Davis will oversee all of Animal Planet’s development and programming, and will work closely with creative to create high-quality non-fiction content. The four-time Emmy winner will be based in Los Angeles and report to Nancy Daniels, chief brand officer of Discovery & Factual.
“I’m excited to join Nancy in continuing to shape the Animal Planet brand and programming,” Introcaso-Davis said. “It’s a special opportunity to develop and produce programming at a strong brand with a name that holds so much legacy.”

Prior to E!, Introcaso-Davis served as EVP programming and development at GSN. Before that, she was SVP of original programming at Oxygen Media and previously was SVP of development at Bravo, where she developed programming including “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy,” and “Real Housewives of Orange County.”
