Animal Planet Names Amy Introcaso-Davis EVP of Development and Production

Animal Planet has named Amy Introcaso-Davis as its new executive vice president of development and production.

Introcaso-Davis comes from E!, where she was EVP of programming and development since 2017. There, she realigned the network’s development strategy and was behind “Very Cavallari” and “The Soup” reboot.

In her new role, Introcaso-Davis will oversee all of Animal Planet’s development and programming, and will work closely with creative to create high-quality non-fiction content. The four-time Emmy winner will be based in Los Angeles and report to Nancy Daniels, chief brand officer of Discovery & Factual.

Prior to E!, Introcaso-Davis served as EVP programming and development at GSN. Before that, she was SVP of original programming at Oxygen Media and previously was SVP of development at Bravo, where she developed programming including “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy,” and “Real Housewives of Orange County.”
