Animal Park Cast: Ranbir Kapoor to Face Vicky Kaushal in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Movie, Claim Reports

Following the massive success of Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, all eyes are now on its sequel, Animal Park. The 2023 movie was the first collaboration between Kapoor and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Featuring an ensemble cast, the movie opened to impressive box office numbers and became one of the highest-grossing Indian movies of the year. Now, as most of the actors will reprise their respective roles in the upcoming sequel, reports of an addition to the cast are making rounds. Allegedly, Vicky Kaushal will face Kapoor in the movie.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga brought many actors under one roof for Animal. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Shakti Kapoor played supporting characters. Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri were the female leads, while Bobby Deol played the lead antagonist. Deol’s character died in the first movie, so he will likely not return in the sequel.

Vicky Kaushal to play villain in Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal Park?

According to Instant Bollywood, Vicky Kaushal is being considered to play the villain in Animal Park. Allegedly, the role will be a negative one in the dark thriller. However, the makers have not confirmed the same yet.

If the reports are to be believed, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is not the only filmmaker to cast Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal together. The two stars and Alia Bhatt have been roped in for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War.

When Animal was running in the theaters, it competed with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur. However, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer instantly dominated the box office.

Despite the impressive box office collection, Animal received mixed reviews from the audience. Some found the alpha male ideology-based film entertaining, while others called it problematic. It would be interesting to watch how Animal Park would unfold.
