Animal Movie Advance Booking Collection Day 5: Ranbir Kapoor’s To Get a Good Start

Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna‘s Animal are creating waves at the box office. Its advance booking collections are reportedly signaling a promising start. Sandeep Reddy Vanga, renowned for his directorial success with Kabir Singh, is the mastermind behind this project as well. Set against the backdrop of the underworld, Animal explores the complex father-son relationship between Arjun Singh (Ranbir Kapoor) and Balbir Singh (Anil Kapoor). Along with Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri, the film also features Bobby Deol as the antagonist.

In comparison, Animal is currently overshadowing other box office competitions, particularly Meghna Gulzar’s biopic on Sam Manekshaw, Sam Bahadur, starring Vicky Kaushal. The film also has a stellar cast that includes Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Neeraj Kabi, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has sold a staggering 7,45,992 tickets for 12,539 shows. Its advance booking collection has raked in an impressive $2.3 million in the initial days of release. The ticket sales data from Sacnilk reveals that Animal has witnessed significant traction in both Hindi and Telugu shows. Of the total tickets sold, 5,75,197 have been for the Hindi shows, while 1,63,361 have been for the Telugu shows.

Delhi, Telangana, and Maharashtra have emerged as the key contributors to the movie’s spectacular advance bookings. Each state brought in $4.8 hundred thousand, $4.96 hundred thousand, and $3.94 hundred thousand, respectively. Other states such as Karnataka, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh have also shown substantial support. Each state collected over $1 hundred thousand in advance bookings.

The anticipation surrounding Animal is building, with expectations that it will become Ranbir Kapoor’s biggest opener. As such, it will even surpass the success of Sanju, which had earned $4 million on its opening day. According to Sacnilk’s projections, Animal is poised to earn $7 million in India and an additional $ 3.5 million overseas, resulting in a substantial $11 million gross on its opening day.
