‘Angie Tribeca’: Canine Cop David Hoffman Takes Us Behind the Scenes
Sorry, Rashida Jones, but we all know the real star of Angie Tribeca is Officer David Hoffman, aka Jagger the German Shepherd. “Our method for writing Hoffman is that he’s a cop. That’s it. Anything a cop might do just becomes funnier because he happens to be a dog,” Tribeca showrunner Ira Ungerleider told Yahoo TV in our Spring TV Preview. To celebrate the show’s third season premiere, we asked Jagger to take fans behind the scenes of his busy day on the Tribeca set — from the makeup chair to the editing bay and beyond.
