Created by Nancy Oliver, Angelyne is a drama series that revolves around the eponymous celebrity, who garnered widespread popularity in the ’80s for appearing in a series of billboards in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas before acting in films and TV videos and releasing studio albums. Is there an Angelyne Season 2 release date?
There is no Angelyne Season 2 release date as the show was developed as a miniseries.
Angelyne is reportedly based on Gary Baum’s article, The Mystery of L.A. Billboard Diva Angelyne’s Real Identity Is Finally Solved, published in The Hollywood Reporter in 2017. In the five-part first season, the series succeeds in telling the story it sets out to tell, covering Angelyne’s life both in the past and the 2010s. Moreover, following its release, the show was criticized by the eponymous celebrity herself, who will probably be at least uncooperative if future seasons are developed. Considering all this, Angelyne Season 2 is unlikely to happen.
