Angels in the Outfield 30 for 30 parody: College Humor video

Angels in the Outfield 30 for 30 parody

Were there really angels in that outfield? Why was George Knox hanging around with those kids so much when he should have been focusing on his team? And if there were angels, why weren’t they doing something more than helping a baseball team?

These and many more questions are answered in the latest 30 for 30… parody, centering on the classic baseball film Angels in the Outfield.

College Humor has crafted a spoof of ESPN Films’ documentary series using the 1994 Disney film starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Matthew McConaughey. Real baseball experts, former players, and even Neal McDonough in character as pitcher Whitt Bass contribute to the video to talk about the Angels’ rise to greatness, as well as to explore their shocking fall.

Watch the parody above to find out that while the film may have come to a conclusion, the story of the team was far from over.
