The ongoing romantic C-drama Angels Fall Sometimes released episode 7 on March 11, 2024. It features popular actors Lin Yi and Landy Li in the lead roles. Zhu Dong Ning is the director of the drama, while Cheng Xiao Mao and Cheng Meng Yan are the screenwriters. The drama tells the story of Lin Tuo (Lin Yi), whose whole life turns upside down after being diagnosed with a nerve disease that affects his physical abilities. But his girlfriend, An Zhi Que (Landy Li), his friends, and family members are there for him.

Lin Tuo continues to endure a hard time at work as his comments at the company meeting get Mr. Wei and his team leader in trouble. He also learns that Wei’s design has been rejected by the client. He decides to apologize to Wei but is ignored. Lin Tuo worries that Mr. Wei will reject his employment. Meanwhile, Lin Tuo’s senior really likes his ideas and praises Chu Cheng (Wang You Jun) for choosing Lin Tuo.

Lin Tuo decides to move out of his friend’s apartment and look for a place of his own. Zhi Que helps him. They decide on an apartment, but the rent is way out of their budget. Lin Tuo worries as he recalls that his probation is almost due.

Zhi Que’s father persuades her to turn her passion for baking into a career. He tells her that she should think about opening a cafe or a store where she can sell the baked goods. He asks her not to worry about her father and focus on building a future for herself. Meanwhile, things start to look up as Lin Tuo is officially hired by the company.

Lin Tuo moves into his new apartment, and Zhi Que helps him decorate the place. Mr. Wei has started to like Lin Tuo, and he now assigns more projects to him and also carefully listens to his ideas. One day, while working at his desk, Lin Tuo drops the pen. He bends down to pick it up but is unable to move his hand. The situation reminds him of the time he got a strange leg cramp while playing soccer. The sudden series of experiencing pulled muscles start to worry him.
