Meant to be? Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick found love with Vinny Tortorella following her divorce from Chris Larangeira. They had a whirlwind romance and shocked her costars when they got engaged in November 2022, but are they still together?

Angelina and Vinny announced their engagement in April ​2023 on an episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Just four months later, the couple’s relationship appeared to be struggling, as Angelina called the police on her fiancé after an alleged domestic violence incident.

No charges were pressed against Vinny. “I can confirm that Angelina did in fact call the police to her home,” the reality star’s attorney said. “After speaking with the officers, Angelina decided not to file charges. This matter is now closed. Moving forward, Angelina would ask for privacy as it pertains to her personal life.”

Vinny’s lawyer also released a statement. “My client and Ms. Pivarnick are still engaged and are still residing together,” the attorney said. “Mr. Tortorella denies any act of impropriety that would warrant police involvement and denies any act of domestic violence occurred. No charges have been pressed against my client by Ms. Pivarnick or law enforcement. I ask that his privacy be respected in this regard.”

While this incident was not discussed on Jersey Shore, season 7 of Family Vacation did feature Angelina venting to her roommates about troubles in her relationship. The footage aired at the beginning of 2024 but was filmed at the end of summer 2023. “He said he wants to work it out but then he’s never home,” Angelina admitted.

However, as the season progressed, Angelina and Vinny seemed to be working on their relationship. He went to Arizona with her for a cast trip in November 2023.

By December 2023, things still weren’t going well for the duo. “We’ve been fighting a lot,” Angelina told In Touch in an exclusive interview. At the time, their latest fight stemmed from Vinny not supporting Angelina when her dog was sick. “I’m not a mother of human children, but I want human babies,” she continued. “But I’m not going to have one with somebody that always fights with me over bulls--t.”

By Valentine’s Day 2024, the couple seemed to patch things up. Angelina posted a photo of the flowers Vinny got her for the holiday on her Instagram Story. “Beautiful flowers from my wonderful, loving, helpful, thoughtful, selfless, supportive fiancé,” she gushed. “Happy third Valentine’s Day babe.”

The following month, Vinny proved he and Angelina were going strong with various social media posts. On March 12, 2024, he shared a selfie of them kissing, and on March 24, 2024, he posted a picture of them at a 90s-themed party together.

Angelina and Vinny met via Instagram at the beginning of 2022. She revealed their romance to her Jersey Shore: Family Vacation costars and viewers during a September 2022 episode, which had been filmed months earlier.

Despite announcing their relationship, Vinny didn’t make his debut on the show until season 6 in 2023, when Angelina revealed things were “getting a little bit more serious.”

“Things have been heating up between us and we’re definitely moving along in our relationship,” Angelina shared during a March 2023 episode. “He’s from Staten Island and yes, his name is Vinny. What are the f--king odds of that.”

Their engagement was featured on an April 2023 episode, while the TV personality also shared the news via Instagram.

“OHHHH YES GUYS,” Angelina wrote alongside engagement ring emojis.

When Did Angelina Pivarnick and Chris Larangeira Split?

Before her romance with Vinny, Angelina was married to Chris from 2019 until 2022.

The pair faced many ups and downs in their romance, while she filed for divorce for the first time in January 2021. However, the split didn’t last long, and they reconciled that September.

Despite trying to give their relationship another try, Angelina and Chris called it quits for good in January 2022 and their divorce was finalized in May of that year.

Chris cited “irreconcilable differences which have caused that breakdown of the marriage for a period of at least six months” in his filing as the reason for their divorce, according to documents obtained by In Touch.

Prior to their split, Angelina was very outspoken about some of the problems in their relationship.

In one episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, the Staten Island native claimed they had a “nonexistent” sex life. “It’s like, we’ll fight, and then whoever starts the fight won’t want to bang,” she said at the time. “So, he don’t want to bang, I don’t want to bang — no one wants to bang.”
