Angelina Jolie Seen in Rare Outing With Kids Vivienne and Pax

Angelina Jolie was spotted enjoying a rare public outing with her daughter Vivienne and son Pax for a pretty special reason.

The actress and filmmaker was photographed with two of the six children she shares with ex-husband Brad Pitt while attending the opening night of the stage adaptation of S.E. Hinton’s iconic 1967 book, The Outsiders, on Thursday, April 11, in New York City.

The trio arrived at the red carpet and quickly split up. The Academy Award winner donned a brown gown with a bronze cape as she and her teenage daughter hit the red carpet while Pax, 20, presumably found his seat indoors.

Jolie, 48, served as one of the producers of the Broadway play, while Vivienne, 15, worked as a production assistant–something she discussed with reporters while standing beside the show’s composer, Justin Levine.

“Viv ended up more with Justin than with me, so you can tell by choice of attire which team she’s on. She’s on the music, writer and greaser team,” Jolie explained to Extra, pointing out the blue jumpsuit Vivienne wore to the event.

Levine also applauded the teenager's work ethic and talents off-screen.

"Let me tell you something about Viv,” he began. “Viv is one of the greatest humans I’ve ever met and somebody who is an observer and who sees people and sees the world in a way that, you know, I think, so much about this show is reconnecting with your inner child.”

“To have the privilege of working alongside this brilliant 15-year-old and hear her perspective and also learn the lesson of, you know, speaking when you have something to say or learning how to give energy into a space … I just think she’s one of the wisest little greasers I’ve ever met,” Levine added.

Along with Pax and Vivienne, Jolie also shares 23-year-old Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt, 19-year-old Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt, 17-year-old Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt and 15-year-old Knox Léon Jolie-Pitt, with her ex-husband, whom she dated for 10 years before they married in 2014. They separated two years later and were divorced in 2019, though their messy legal battle has continued well into 2024.
