Angelina Jolie Dazzles in Statement Cape Alongside Daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt in Boiler Suit for ‘The Outsiders’ Broadway Premiere

Angelina Jolie stepped out for a rare public appearance on Thursday night in New York. The Oscar-winning actress attended the Broadway premiere of the musical “The Outsiders” alongside one of her children: 15-year-old daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt.

For the red carpet event, Jolie made a true fashion statement. The actress wore a caramel-hued cape over a similarly colored dress. Her accessories also made a statement. She wore a pair of bold gold earrings that complemented the color scheme of her ensemble.

As for her hair and makeup, Jolie kept it classic. Her hair was styled with a natural wave, and her makeup popped with the addition of a classic red lip. While posing for photos, Jolie was joined by her daughter, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt. The 15-year-old kept it casual in a navy blue boiler suit, with her hair worn down. Standing next to each other, the mother-daughter pair looked very much alike.

Jolie hasn’t made many public appearances as of late. The actress and filmmaker has been focused on several philanthropic and entrepreneurial endeavors. She recently joined the advisory board of sustainable ready-to-wear brand Another Tomorrow. The company was founded by former finance executive Vanessa Barboni Hallik.

“One of the biggest changes I’m seeing is that people working in sustainability are finding ways to partner, and I’m joining the Another Tomorrow advisory board because Vanessa is building a different path in this industry,” Jolie said.

“[Hallik] saw all the shortcomings and roadblocks that have long been accepted as rote, and she is taking them on and modeling how to work differently. To be part of this momentum is exciting to me, and for the outcome to be elevated clothing that comes from a thoughtful and humane supply chain makes it all the more beautiful,” Jolie added.

Since taking a pivot away from Hollywood, Jolie has focused on various collaborations. She worked alongside fashion brand Chloé in June 2023 and launched her new fashion business venture Atelier Jolie in May 2023.
