Andy Samberg, Lupita Nyong’o, and Jon Hamm’s Funny Reboots With ‘Billy on the Street’

Billy on the Street kicked off Tuesday night’s episode with Andy Samberg and a little game called “Was at My Wedding or Possibly Killed Tupac?” and Andy won! Later, concerned that Hollywood is fresh out of interesting characters for action movies, Billy pitched some edgy new rebooted heroes to the average Joes on the street. Imagine Andy Samberg as MySpace Tom. Catchphrase: “I just updated my mood to pissed.”

Other celebrities got in on the action with Lupita Nyong’o as the NBC peacock. Catchphrase: “I’m the NBC peacock. I’ll kill you.” Perhaps nothing was odder than Marvel and Hallmark teaming up to create “Dr. Strange, Medicine Woman” played by none other than Jon Hamm. Imagine an English lady who lives in the Old West and also learns mystic Asian spell casting. Turns out people prefer the rebooted version of the mermaid from the Starbucks logo. Her superpower: She can put caramel in literally anything.

Billy on the Street airs Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m. on TruTV.
